The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari sits amongst the rolling countryside of northern Italy, or sometimes San Marino. Because we can read maps here at Really Rubbish Racing, it is in Italy. It's famous for many great moments, not least the 1982 San Marino Grand Prix. Yet unfortunately infamous for others, although the owners hope you'll forget all the bad times by drawing attention to the fact that in 2007 they rebuilt the pit lane and garages and reprofiled the start/finish straight, creating a beautiful uninterrupted run from Rivazza to Tamburello. The circuit encompasses many typically Italian things, such as vineyards, a football stadium, terracotta tiled roofed villas, and probably a pizzaria. Outside of the circuit are, through the law of averages, many many more typically Italian things, such as The Colosseum, the Vatican, Mount Vesuvius, and the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Really Rubbish Racing will be visiting the circuit for the first time during the Really Rubbish Racing Touring Car Championship Season 2.
