On 20th May 2012, several Really Rubbish Racing members travelled to Brands Hatch from all over the county in order to meet each other and watch the DTM and support races.

It was a long day for Dan Thorn, who was awake at 4:30am in preparation for the three hour journey ahead of him. On the way he picked up Scott and Rumbly, getting lost in the process. The trip got lost again heading towards Brands, but nonetheless arrived at half past 8, one of the first groups there, despite almost deciding to visit GOLF LIVE instead.

Over the course of the next hour or so the rest of the crew arrived and found a neat spot at Paddock Hill Bend to watch the DTM practice and F3 Euroseries from. The F3 provided particular amusement when one of the drivers crashed on the installation lap after some overly vigourous tyre warming. At the same time PeachyF1 dealt out some fantastic RRR cookies and Bookoi gave everyone RRR keyrings.

The DTM race itself provided some fantastic sights and sounds in the early laps as The Indypendables watched from Druids. It wasn't long however before the field spread out, and Gary Paffett won a slightly boring race.

Next came the Lotus Elise race, which provided some good action at Druids between the cow car and the carrot car, and a car with Really Rubbish Racing number 54 aptly spun on the first lap. Then came the Euro NASCAR race, undoubtedly the highlight of the day. After some cautious opening laps the drivers soon upped the aggression, with lots of passing, hitting and spinning, and a car with an exact replica of Smifaye's livery. The Eddie Jordan lookalike marshall had his work cut out.

Then followed an incredibly dull Lotus endurance race, brightened only by the appearance of a driver called Jack Goff, a name which Dan and TommyB had great fun making dodgy motor racing related sentences out of. After a VW race which was trolled by a SEAT and featured a police car and a Formula Ford race which had a SpyroTechnimata liveried car, the RRRers parted ways before having to watch another Elise race.

Dan got lost for a third time giving Icthyes a lift to the train station, and after dropping Rumbly and Scott off, finally arrived back home at half 9.
