The Cappuccino Auto Festival Évent (or CAFÉ for short), is the second unofficial (non-championship) Really Rubbish Racing series for Gran Turismo 5.

The series will use fully Race Modified Suzuki Cappuccinos around real and Gran Turismo's fictional tracks. Cappuccinos were chosen as, aswell as being brilliant to race in, they are cheap and cheerful. Entry level motorsport for GT5 if you will.

The Car

Take one Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) costing 14,600 credits. Take it to be race modified - 114,500

Once you've done that add:
Body Rigidity 20,000
Sports ECU 1,000
Engine Tuning, all 3 stages totaling 47,500
Intake Manifold 2,500
Race Air Filter 450
Exhaust Manifold 3,500
Catalytic Converter 500
Limited Slip Differential 7,500

Only the Low Range Turbo may be fitted 4,500

It will be advisable to buy all the racing compound tyres. Once you buy one set you'll obtain the wets and inters.
Hard 15,000
Medium 25,000
Soft 36,000

Paint it to your chosen colour and put your number on, using Number Type 2 (If you currently race with a 3 digit number choose something similar) To paint the body costs 2,000 A new set of rims (to my knowledge they don't improve performance) will be 3,500 and 2,000 to paint them.

All in all, you'll spend 300,050 credits, ending up with 128 BHP weighing in at a PP level of 471. If a high aerodynamic setup is used, this will be 476.

Format

The event will start with a 2 lap race with Boost and Collisions turned Off. This will act as qualifying.

After this there will be a Feature Race, lengths to be determined, with Boost set to Weak, Slipstreaming to Strong and Collisions On. Damage will be Off, but Tyre Wear/Fuel will be set to Very Fast. These races should be long enough to force pit stop strategies.

After this will be a sprint race, with a reverse grid. Same rules as above. The hope that the tyre wear being on for this will be to force some thinking. "Will Softs last? Or not? If they don't, can I be competitive on Hards?"
