Strong weekend, enjoyed that :)

Qualified P5, albeit with a dramatically slower 2nd lap. Had a good start into R1, capitalising on crashes early on and then managing P4 until the end, which then became P3 when Mike's Hyundai engine expired.

R2 had some fun bouts with @Blex & @Shinobi, good stuff, and P5 in the end. A bit of nudgy action in the early moments of R3 had me charge through the grid for a recovery drive, ultimately bringing home P7 with another nice battle vs. Fraser!

My pace wasn't really there in the dry, but in the wet it wasn't too bad.

Quali: Did wet run to get some banker laps in early. Realised dries were the tyres to be on but couldn't find a gap early enough into my run. Set a couple of laps, made a mistake on the second and then didn't have enough fuel for the third. P10 and P10.

Race 1: Honestly forgot what happened to drop me down the order but it happened. Was climbing back up the field when I had a spin while battling @Westbeef. Then my wheel double-downshifted at one point when points were on offer. DNF.

Race 2: Crashed at the start. Ended up P11 after a few battles, including a late one with @Arwyn.

Race 3: Knew I needed to ace the start and hope that others can keep the quick drivers at bay for a while. I did my bit, but when @Mike Bell, @lazaros18 and @Shinobi came up to me I had no answer. Made a few mistakes that allowed @fjordnet past. He made a mistake which caused me to follow. The result of that was @MrRandom287 got past. But happy with the points. P6.

I have become speed
Qualy for race 1: 4th
Destroyer of worlds
Qualy for race 2: 3rd

Race 1: blew my engine by accidentally shifting to neutral in high gear as I was falling backwards due to bad tire choice at the start. LMAO NO = DNF
Race 2: Was running in 4th but my tire degradation was quite high, so eventually I lost out to @shaxberd and then understeered off the circuit a couple times, picking up damage and ultimately finishing up in 8th
Race 3: Got a breakaway with the leadpack, got overtaken by @Mike Bell and then I didn't put much of a fight as @lazaros18 poked his nose in and I let him through. We all then caught up to @craighypheno. I managed to get past and then hold it for the rest of the race, that gap that had formed to the rest of the pack really helping me to be able to look after the tires more and don't overdrive, bringing it home in P3. First podium in Realish!!

Tl;dr: LMAO YES

Race 1 I was on the wrong tires, had some good battles early on but by the end they were totally letting go and my pace fell off a cliff

Race 2 I had some fantastic battles, and my first ever points! was in a close fought battle with a few people in the lower half of the single digits, but a small accident put me down into 10th

Race 3 was shit. Not a whole lot to say other than I started bad and got worse.

So after missing a few events thought i'd drag myself to this one.

Quali: I set one decent wet lap for me and went onto dry tyres and couldn't manage another lap, the slightly greasy conditions were probably a bit beyond my ability for dry tyres. Nothing spectacular though. P13

R1 & R2 I was still blowing off the cobwebs and not racing too well. P13 in both races.

R3, much better from me here, back into the swing of things. Ended up in a really good 3 way battle with @PaulDillon and Will Walker (can't seem to tag). Between us we traded places a few times for the final points spot, and on the final lap I just managed to pip them for it . P10 and first points for the season.

I really enjoyed this one. Everything about last night affirmed my decision to get involved in all of this.

Race 1 ~ On the wrong tyres so my performance went from mediocre to dismal during the race but at least I was still running at the end of it.
Race 2 ~ got my first points ever so was well pleased with myself but then the realisation dawned that this was going to put me 3rd on the grid for the last race, I usually start from near the back so I was a bit nervous.
Race 3 ~ I knew the fast guys were behind me and wouldn't stay there for long but I was determined not to spoil anyone else's race by doing something stupid while being challenged. I felt I was very fair and as it turns out, everyone else was too. A bit of paint scraping but nothing too aggressive and I ended up in a brilliant 3 way fight with @Westbeef and Will Walker, at one point I took them both in one move when they clashed a bit but I couldn't sustain it just missing out on the points.

Drivers involved: @lazaros18 (#14), @fjordnet (#58)
Event/Race: RRTCR 4 - Bay Raceway 1
Timestamp: 245
Short Description: Scott makes contact with Mike then almost immediately has further contact with Lazaros, causing him to spin out.
Verdict: WARNING for Scott
Comment: These incidents were caused by Scott failing to hold a consistent line. Please be more careful on the opening lap.

Drivers involved: @Westbeef (#12), @Arwyn (#99)
Event/Race: RRTCR 4 - Bay Raceway 1
Timestamp:
Short Description: Ryan collides with Arwyn, who is recovering from an incident, forcing her off the track.
Verdict: WARNING for Ryan
Comment: We felt that with hindsight, Ryan should have given the place back to Arwyn but while a reprimand would normally be given, it was a strange incident and we felt a warning was more appropriate.

Drivers involved: @lazaros18 (#14), @Shinobi (#123)
Event/Race: RRTCR 4 - Bay Raceway 2
Timestamp: 251
Short Description: Lazaros fully cuts the corner to overtake Martin on lap 1.
Verdict: REPRIMAND for Lazaros
Comment: Lazaros should have given the position back. Completely cutting a corner to overtake in this way is not on so a reprimand was felt appropriate.

Drivers involved: @Blex (#56), @Arwyn (#99)
Event/Race: RRTCR 4 - Bay Raceway 3
Timestamp: 247
Short Description: Fraser goes inside Arwyn through the kink at turn 3, causing her to spin.
Verdict: WARNING for Fraser
Comment: This was similar to the Ryan/Arwyn incident above. While we felt that Fraser should have given the place back with hindsight, it was another strange incident and a warning was felt appropriate.

Once again, a friendly reminder to please be aware of cars around you. I appreciate these cars have massive blindspots but we're seeing incidents every round caused by people moving across when it's not clear. Please be careful!

Stewarding Decision Appealed
Verdict: Reprimand reduced to Warning
Comment: We appreciate differing speeds and lines through this sector, and especially so during the first lap, might cause a surprise pass, but an overtake off the track is not acceptable and should have been returned immediately.
The verdict still was reduced as Martin's race wasn't actively affected similar to a hit-and-run with damage, although we fully reserve the right to dish out reprimands for repeated and future offences of this kind.

Stewarding Decision Appealed
Verdict: Warning stands
Comment: While the lines converged and this was not a "100%/0% at fault" situation (in which case this would have been a reprimand), it's still the overtaking car's responsibility to make a safe overtake. That wasn't the case, so a warning feels appropriate as the position was not returned.
