Circuit de Boers Stewarding PostPit Entry:
On the left after the final corner.Pit Exit:
On the left before the first corner. There is no blend line but please keep left on leaving the pits and announce pit exit
The first corner is extremely fast. Beware of cars around you and don't move across the track unless you're sure it's clear. If you make contact through turn 1, you will have a big crash.
Know your braking point for turn 2 as your brakes will be cold off the start. Be prepared to brake earlier than you would normally if there are other cars around you.
Be careful through the tunnel as this is another fast corner and the walls are very close. Don't squeeze another car into the wall, obviously.
Track limits are the usual rule - two wheels within the white line at all times please. The exception is the tunnel where the whole track, including the blue painted run-off, is fair game (not that there's much space between the white lines and the walls anyway).Event Notes
Be careful at the start. We've had a couple of start crashes this season because people weren't aware of other cars around them.
These are touring cars and as such are able to withstand minor contact, however, the guiding principle remains to avoid contact. In particular, if you gain a place as a result of making contact with another car, you must give the place back
. As an example, this kind of move would not be acceptable
. Please call it out and/or file an incident report if you see overtaking being done this way.
