Re: Special Event 44 - Formula R Barth (Assetto Corsa)

And to compound my newfound inability to drive, I go to do a bit of practice for this, load my saved setup, and the car feels completely different compared to when I set it up last. Before, I had the brakes almost perfectly balanced, and could stamp on the throttle almost instantly out of all bar Re...

Re: I wrote a tool

In theory, yes; I'll see what I can do. No go I'm afraid. The trick I used for the lobby size won't work on the race length; when the value of the textbox changes, the program does additional validation on what is entered, and caps the value at 120. There is a way to get around that, but it require...

It's targetted solely at the Race 07 dedicated server; I'd have to write something new for other games like SCE.

No code injection, just a suitably-crafted window message; I can go into details, but it'll require describing a bit about the guts of Windows UI system itself. Crack on then. I'm interested! :D *Activating 'James May' mode... success!* All Windows GUI programs are event-based by way of message que...

I'm fairly sure it's about the lobby size Exactly, hence the name 'Viagra' :giggity: likely via injecting some code to adjust the slider control? Since this seems to be causing a bit of confusion, I've screenshotted the Windows 7/8/8.1 Network Discovery settings:

If you change it under 'Private' and it doesn't fix your issue, also change it under 'Guest or Public'.

Re: Gaming Rig

If your C: and D: drives are on the same physical disk, yes you can repartition. If not, then you can't. To know for sure, you'll need to check in Disk Management; that should be in the Control Panel somewhere. Another option is to do what I did, and move your Steam installation to an external hard ...

Re: Special Event 44 - Formula R Barth (Assetto Corsa)

Another note: If you accidently copy the file 'Tatus_BASE_SPC.dds', it'll mess with the lighting; just delete it ;) And to change the colour of the head surround, you need a texture file called 'Protection.dds'; it's a 64px square of the colour you want the head surround to be. No shading, no detail...

And for Win8/10 Metro Modern UI users: http://rpsoftware.net/img/RSR/MetroVPN.png Note: This will create a Public network; changing it to Private is a ball-ache. Basically, don't use the Metro Modern UI interface. And yes, you'll need to do what Cova did to make the server discoverable.

Re: Racing via Tunngle

so what with mediafire? it's safe It's not MediaFire I have the issue with, more that a company I'd never heard off, that offers paid services, doesn't self-host their own downloads. Which, by itself, is a yellow flag; combine it with the Russian ads though, it becomes a red flag. Having said that,...
